Stories of Feeding God's Children Hungry in Body & Spirit
Amigurumi is the Japanese art of handcrafting stuffed yarn creatures, and the women of Weaving Hope have mastered it.
Weaving Hope, a ministry of FMSC food partner Buckner International, supports Venezuelan migrants and Peruvian women in vulnerable situations by providing sustainable employment.
Janeth adores creating amigurumi animals for Weaving Hope. One of her favorite things is transforming the yarn into something fun for kids.
“It inspires me to give joy to the children,” she said.
Janeth is able to provide for her family and send her children to school. She dreams of earning her own degree and building a bright future for her children.
